Starting Again from Zero

Very noble thoughts. But the efforts need to be hanging the mindset of our society. If every one can accept widowed or divorced and other single woman (for so many reasons) as normal human, there should not be a problem. Irony is that widowed or divorced get a stigma in addition to the turmoil they have had in life. Read the story here.

Art of Infrastructure

Friends of Dolls from Switzerland

As we are having beautiful spring in the Dolls Village, volunteers from around the world are visiting the Village. Last week TGD NGO A-F-A had two guest from Switzerland: Irene from Berne, the veteran volunteer who had been working together with Dr Senta Siller – the founder of the project and Dr. Norbert Pintsch. The other was Madeleine from Geneva. Both volunteers spend happy time in the village, meet local volunteers and members of the village NGO noted the changes that have occurred over time.

Spring has Bloomed at Dolls' Village

Spring always suits the village of Thatta Ghulamka Dheroka (TGD). Departing winters has been bringing the good news of the Spring coming to TGD in more than one way. Not that they cherish the fabulous season but also it’s a clue to new festivity, new plans and new progress. It’s time for volunteers to come to the village with new enthusiasm, new plans, new vision and new activity. Like every year, Spring will welcome the volunteers with open arms and villagers will enjoy learning something exotic; anything that is new and interesting, that may give their lives a new meaning and new color is fascinating. So, let’s see what is decided to be shared between the volunteers around the world, and, the brilliant and keen villagers.

There was Life Beyond

Thank you  Dr. Senta Siller and Dr. Norbert Pinstch! Thanks to Volunteers at Thatta Ghulamka Dheroka (TGD) ! I wish people come and see these godsend angles who taught the villagers of TGD the skills and art of living. Women, in particular, are benefited among all the folks. You can’t forget the pleasant surprise in the eyes and smiles of the ladies and girls when they are given opportunities to learn a new skill, whether it is language skill, art, Math, healthcare or whatever, their faces glow with excitement. Thrill of ‘how to do something they love to do’ has been touching!
