The brilliantly planned and super successful project of Thatta Khedona has brightened up a sun of hope for the entire Pakistan. It is a seamless experiment that proved that we can only solve our issues when we don’t challenge our culture. While following or envying other cultures, we can never fulfill the peculiar demands of our certain cultures.
Like win-win-win project, Thatta Khedona, we should survey other underprivileged areas of our countries and conduct researches on various regional cultures of Pakistan in different provinces of the country. Often, in Pakistan, it is told that our tribal areas, Northern part of the country and provinces like Balochistan and Khyber Pukhtoon Khuwa, the local people resist development. But the project shows that they are not the local people who are faulty but the authorities and local governments who never tried to understand these people, their mindset, their socio-economic conditions, educational level, regional culture and history in order to device a really suitable and beneficial plan that can help them improve their life standards. In fact, no one can implement any reforms while disturbing the personal, family, social or and cultural desires of a certain area. Preserving the local culture is the first step, which will take us to another level of cultural development until one day we will achieve our dream goals.
The inspirational experiment of Thatta Khedona is not only exemplary but guides us towards the actual way of developmental success.
