We Pakistanis are confused between cultures: superior
culture, inferior culture, rural culture, urban culture, local culture, foreign
culture and so on. We can’t choose our culture at the time of our birth, but it
contributes to our brought up. The cultural difference gives us an identity and
helps others to understand us. If a culture helps us to understand each other,
how can it be good or bad. It can only be just different or unfamiliar to us.
May be we are more privileged and more fortunate in terms of opportunities and
resources, but how can it determine that we have more human rights than the underprivileged
class or we are better quality human beings.
Thatta Kedona Project demonstrates it’s not the culture-by-birth
that makes a difference but the opportunities. Similar opportunities develop
another culture, and, that is, HUMAN CULTURE. Only Human Culture can bring
social welfare to folks and promote mutual understanding between different
cultures.

Well said. Very well said.
