Impossible Pakistani Village

Unbelievably, the internal life of the village, Thatta Ghulamka Dheroka, is so perfect that we can hardly compare it with the typical Pakistani Village. Can you imagine of a village having a full-fledged enlightened culture demonstrating the gender cooperation, proud career-oriented women balancing their lives with their focus on their family lives, proper school education, mud housing technology, healthcare center, museum, village power-station, Radio & TV project, marketing facility, fish farming, water project, agricultural scheme, local market, Vocational educational institute, status of Tourist’s attraction and, above all, have international exposure and interaction? Every year, volunteers come here from different parts of the globe to visit and teach them new skills catering both the genders or facilitate them in some other way. So, where there is a will, there is a way.

The picture reflects how enriched life is there at Thatta Ghulamka Dheroka. Lucky guys!

Wish other rural areas of Pakistan take the Thatta Kedona Project as their model to progress and prosperity.

  1. Thatha Kedona is a model village indeed and all the credit goes to one person Dr Senta Siller who conceived and implemented the magical transformation. I visited the village twice and highly impressed by sustainable development. Senta you are the Queen of Dolls. And Kausar i see you as her successor !!!
